Casale Roma 2642, an historical country farmhouse built in 1928, when the Pontine marches were being reclaimed, today it is where the artist Brando has his studio.

The farmhouse which still retains its original structure, is surrounded by a mediterranean-style garden, where quiet spots abound.

It is easy to get to both by car and by public transport and its geographical location is excellent: near Rome but far enough away to avoid the buzz and crowds of such a large metropolis, and near such picturesque places as the beautiful gardens of Ninfa, and the lake of Fogliano. In just 30 minutes you can get to the lively Roman Hill Towns, the almost untouched coastal sand-dunes of Sabaudia and the crystalline waters of the pontine islands (Palmarola, Ponza, Ventotene). The atmosphere is tipically Italian –friendly and hospitable.

This place combines art and daily life, the past is alive in the mosaics which enrich the gardens.

The warm, spontaneous hospitality shown by the owners creates a family-like relaxing environment. You will be welcomed by Teresa, the owner, who will show you to your rooms. In the morning, you will be greeted by the fragrance of fresh fruit and the bright colours of breakfast, which can be eaten either in the garden by the old wood oven or in the small intimate room at the back of the house.

The large rooms, all with en- suite bathroom and large windows, are in the old recently- restored guest area. The availability of a double room, or a twin-bedded room or extra beds can vary from day to day, depending on the demand.

Every room has its own name-Corbezzoli, Camelia, Ginestra ( Arbutus, Camelia, Brooms), inspired by the flowers in the garden which along with the paintings, the curtains and the simple refined furniture ensure that your stay will be a unique and unforgettable one.
